Unfortunately for reasons outside our control, this event will no longer be coming to Easingwold. However, many local businesses will still continue to offer food and music and there’ll be Easter Eggs for the children. There was too much disappointment when the news broke to let the day go by uncelebrated, so we hope you will still pop into town from 12pm to support your local businesses.
There will be an outside disco and BBQ at the Angel, Hog Roast at The York, delicious street food from the Curious Table and at The George there will be hot beef and turkey baps available.
This is the first time that the Squires Egg Run will have made its destination Easingwold and it is a fabulous event for our lovely market town. Let’s give the bikers a friendly welcome as they enter along Chapel Street and into the market place. Bikes to start arriving at 12.30pm.
Please note that the £5 entry and egg donation is for the bikers. For visitors, this is a free event. There will be stalls on the green, as well as food being available in our wonderful, local eateries, and Easter eggs for the children.
Imagine the sight of hundreds of bikes in the market place and a fun, festive atmosphere! What more could you ask for on a (hopefully) sunny, spring afternoon?
